The Production Company has been blessed with recognition for tremendous artistic success in our 2007-2008 season. We were overwhelmed with 7 LA Stage Alliance Ovation Nominations including Best Play, Best New Play, 2 Best Director, 2 Best Actress, and a Best Lighting nod. There are four hundred member-theatres in that group and we got the second highest number of nominations of any intimate theater in Los Angeles – and by far the most of any newer company. Additionally we received 10 places on StageSceneLA’s ‘Best of Season’ List and 7 Honorable Mentions in Entertainment Today’s ‘Best Of…’ Listing. With all those kudos, please know that we are even more honored by your support. Without your support and patronage, none of this would be possible. None of it. You make art possible.

We have been fortunate that since our initial find-raiser to open our doors in 2007, we have not needed to do a full fundraising effort. In fact, we just completed some significant improvements to the theatre including new carpeting, improved seating risers with better sight lines, a new stage lighting grid, and new sound equipment. We felt that your support deserved a commitment to greater things, and we have made it so. Our 2008-2009 Season is underway, and we have just secured five more outstanding plays including The Twilight of The Golds (opening February 6th), and our first-ever musical: Stephen Sondheim’s Sweeny Todd, to be directed by the brilliant Derek Charles Livingston. You see – we may be a small theatre – but we think big. That said, we do see the effects of recent economic challenges and so we find we must now ask you to join hands with us to ensure that we can continue to grow. We put every penny that we receive from the box office and all other support directly into the theatre. It’s all on that stage every show. We understand that you may not be immune to difficult times, but if there is room left in your giving, please make The Production Company a recipient of your generosity. Theatre Patron: $20 - $499 gets your name listed in our programs.
Theatre Angel: $500 - $1000 gets your name listed in our programs and on our lobby wall plaque.
Theatre Creator: $1001 - $5000 gets your name listed in our programs and highlighted on our lobby wall plaque.
